The Smart Solution to Resolve the Problem of Pollution in India

The Indian subcontinent is one of the most polluted countries in the world today. Indeed, checking real-time air pollution index in Indian cities paints a very grim picture of the dark reality of our atmosphere and city skylines.
Indian cities have dominated the world’s most polluted cities list published by the World Health Organisation this year in 2018. Kanpur topped the list with PM2.5 of 173. To provide a context, this level is 17 times higher than the safe limit declared by the WHO. In the same list, Delhi too occupied a spot with a PM2.5 level of 143. In total, 14 of the top 20 most polluted cities in the world are from India.
There cannot be a bigger wake-up call than the above for our country’s policymakers to introduce legislation to resolve this serious issue through pollution control protocols imposed on big industries, as well as introducing alternative biofuels, green energy sources, and smart technologies.
Along with this, the public must participate and contribute in order to make for cleaner, greener cities in India, where people can breathe uncontaminated air and live healthier lives. Mobycy is borne out of this desire and the impending requirement to introduce change for a better environment by providing the modern smart city-dwellers with a smart, green alternative for mobility.
Mobycy is an app facilitating dockless bicycle sharing. With Mobycy, one only needs to download the app and then immediately, they would be able to pick up and ride a bike using the QR code scan technology built in the app and go anywhere, at any time without having to wait. We are proud to be part of the new wave of smart mobility movement, which aims to ensure efficiency of operation using cutting edge technology but remains accessible to all, and upholds the mission to make India a cleaner and fitter nation.
